FLINT, Michigan -- One man is in critical condition after being shot several times.
Family of victim James Edward Willingham say the incident was an apparent carjacking at Webster Road and Hillcroft Drive.
Police arrested a man at the scene and he is in custody.
Willingham's brother, Bill, said in an e-mail his brother was shot three times at about 7:30 p.m. Friday and is in critical condition at Hurley Medical Center.
"My brother will likely never walk again, but is lucky to still be alive," Bill Willingham said.
James Edward Willingham was a veteran of the Persian Gulf War and was an avid singer and father of two, according to his brother.
